Given a topic to post on, a natural reaction will be "what's the topic? What does it means? Etc... " Precisely! To start this post, what do "I AM @ Youth.SG means to me? It seems to me, to be like a blog or web stuffs only about youths and the information about the youths in Singapore. To me, i think it is like a 'place' online where youths can actually voice out their opinions and feelings towards the society or people affecting them or around them. This can somehow help them to have something to vent their anger and frustrations on.
I feel that it is good to have youths in Singapore who are concern about the society they are living in. These prove that the country is loved and cared and not abandoned. This is always a thing ought to be celebrated and looked upon! To have someone to share the burden with, and to see the youths getting involved in the society, ease the burden of the 'seniors' of the country. This will also allow them to feel less worried when they retire that the country will go 'down' as the youths is taking good care of her. This will hence allow others to get a better understanding of what Singapore youths is like, especially the people from other countries.
Voicing out to the people, online, they feel on the things that was not right is also a good way to allow others to learn from their mistakes. One of a good example which is related are the policemen often go around schools in Singapore to show them the video clips of people who had broken the law in the past to share upon the bad experiences they had. These clips are shown to inform the youths not to learn bad things because u will then face what the regretted youths had faced. The difference in the 'place' online where the youth's share their experiences is from what the policemen are doing is that it is in the forms of words instead of video clipsGiven a topic to post on, a natural reaction will be "whats the topic? This can somehow help them to have something to vent their anger and frustrations on.

One of a good example which is related are the policemen who often go around schools in Singapore to educate them and to show them the video clips of people who had broken the law before to share upon the bad experiences they had. These clips are shown to inform the youths not to learn bad things because u will then face what the regretted youths had faced. All in all, I feel that to have a 'place' regards to whether is it online, for them to voice out is the best idea to understand the youths more and to get the youths involved to things happening in the society!
